As people work through recovery, there are a variety of housing options available.
We offer independent recovery homes. Our homes allow the residents to create a sense of family, make friends, share responsibilities, and experience accountability.
Our homes are in central Minnesota
BRH has nine homes. 7 homes in Brainerd, one in Little Falls, and one in Pine River, all serving men in recovery. Additionally, BRH has some apartments a.k.a. “scattered sites” available for couples, families, or two individuals in recovery. The homes vary in size with anywhere from nine-13 men, with single and shared bedrooms. Each home has multiple shared living and outdoor spaces, and all are air conditioned. The homes are all located in the city limits and close to community services, shopping, government centers, and other resources.

Kitchens:
We strive to provide residents with ample and well-equipped kitchens for preparing and storing their own food.
We provide multiple refrigerators and dedicated cupboard space for each resident. Coffee is provided.
Living Areas/Bedrooms:
Each home has two or more shared living areas with comfortable seating.
Shared internet and a land line telephone is available at each home.
Smart TVs are in the bedrooms and the shared living spaces.
Linens, pillows, and blankets are provided.
Bathrooms:
All bathrooms are shared, with at least two bathrooms per home.
Towels, toilet paper, and cleaning supplies are provided.
Washer/Dryer:
One to two washer/dryer sets and laundry cleaning supplies are provided at each home.

Activities:
Board games, cards, and yard games are available.
Some of our homes offer exercise or other specialized hobby equipment.
Recreational activities available for resident use: summer fishing and ice fishing equipment, bikes, kayaks, board games, books, and various events/outings.
Smoking is only allowed in designated areas.
